How to Keep In Touch This Holiday Season
As gingerbread lattes and towering mistletoe enter the winter, white ambiance of our lives, so does an optimal opportunity to send and endearing “hello” to your ex-boss at your last fashion internship.
Keeping in touch with your previous boss can be tricky business. What do you do? Send random emails throughout the continuation of the year? What do you say? “Hi, how are you?” Ugh.
Fortunately, the calendar year brings about pinpoints of opportunity to poke your head into your boss’s evoked set. The holiday season is one landmark that presents an opportunity of altruism with perfect appropriation: writing your boss a handwritten holiday card (emphasis on handwritten!).
But, what to write… what to write… Here’s a little help!
Carla,
I hope all is well with you and everyone at Krupp Group! I wanted to wish you a happy holidays and great new year! I hope to continue our relationship in 2019.
All the best,
Daniela
Sweet, simple, and to the point. No mushy-gushy “I miss you and reminisce of all the days I had the pleasure of interning with you”. What’s merry about that?
So, from FreeFashionInternships to you, good luck on finals, and happy holidays!
